Wittenberg's men's tennis team has been awarded the No. 4 seed in the 2012 NCAC Championship Tournament, while the Tiger women have been given the No. 5 seed. Both teams will be in action at Kenyon, beginning Friday, April 27.

Originally scheduled to play both Case Western Reserve and Walsh on the latter's home outdoor courts, the Wittenberg men's and women's tennis teams moved indoors and changed locations. Case Western wound up the lone opponent in Kenyon's KAC Center, where both Tiger teams were upended.

The Wittenberg men's tennis team could not have taken on two more different opponents in nearly perfect weather conditions on an Easter Weekend. The Tigers were pleased with both results, however, after taking a tense 5-4 decision against North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) West Division rival Wabash, followed by a 9-0 sweep of Central State.

Albright Tennis Complex, and the Tigers turned in some solid results against an outstanding field that included scholarship programs Northern Kentucky and Ohio Dominican and regionally ranked NCAA Division III rival Ohio Northern.
