Softball picked fourth in 2025 NCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

CLEVELAND, OH — The Wittenberg softball team was picked to finish fourth in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) in the 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released on Wednesday, February 19.
The Tigers received 29 points in the poll. Denison was picked as the conference favorite with five first-place votes and 46 points, DePauw was second with two first-place votes and 42 points, and Hiram was third with one first-place vote and 36 points.
Led by Head Coach Ashley Goodwin, the Tigers open the 2025 season with a jam-packed Spring Break trip to Orlando, Florida, that includes 10 games from March 9-14. The Tigers' home opener is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, with a doubleheader against Earlham.
The Tigers open NCAC play on March 29 with a doubleheader at Wooster. The 2025 NCAC Tournament is scheduled for May 8-10.
