Trio of Tigers Earn Spots On NCAC All-Decade Team

Matt Lord, Mark DeOliveira and Dan Gaines have been recognized by the NCAC with spots on the 30th Anniversary All-Decade Team.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the North Coast Athletic Conference is planning a variety of promotional activities and events throughout the 2013-14 school year.

Voting for the teams was conducted during the summer months and included current coaches and administrators, as well as those coaches and administrators who served significant years in the conference during the previous decade. Each sports' all-decade team will be released prior to the beginning of each playing season in conjunction with that sports' preseason coaches' poll and sport guide.

Wittenberg was represented on the men's lacrosse team by Matt Lord, Mark DeOliveira and Dan Gaines, a trio of Tigers who led Wittenberg to its first two NCAC titles in program history in 2010 and 2011. Eighteen players were honored in all.
