Sproule, Purks Earn 2025 Women's Tennis All-NCAC Awards

CLEVELAND, OH – Two Wittenberg Women's Tennis student-athletes have earned 2025 postseason awards from the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). Senior Caroline Sproule (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy Orange) made first-team All-NCAC as a singles player and third-team All-NCAC as a double player, while senior Sidney Purks (Oakwood, OH / Oakwood) also made third-team All-NCAC as a doubles player.
On the season, Sproule posted a record of 8-6 while playing exclusively at the No. 1 singles position. As a doubles team, Sproule and Purks compiled a record of 6-6 while also playing exclusively at the No. 1 position. Sproule is now a six-time All-NCAC honoree, making her one of the most decorated players in program history. In 2023, she earned second-team All-NCAC in singles and first-team in doubles, and in 2024, she earned first-team All-NCAC in both singles and doubles. The postseason recognition was the first of Purks' collegiate career.
As a team, the Tigers finished 0-15 overall this season and 0-6 in the NCAC.
