Women's Tennis Takes Down OWU On Senior Day
Springfield, OH – The Tigers had a successful Senior Day on Saturday against the Battling Bishops from Ohio Wesleyan. Wittenberg won all three doubles matches and a pair of singles as well to win the day, 5-0. Sydney Khosla and PJ Meyers won the first doubles match by a score of 8-5. Senior, Kathleen McGuff, and her doubles partner Claire Stechow won the second doubles competition once again by way of an 8-5 final. Aliza Johnson and Olivia Norbut took the third and final doubles court, winning 8-2. Meyers defeated her opponent in the singles competition with scores of 6-4 and 6-0. Johnson won against the Battling Bishop 6-1 and 6-0. The rest of the Tigers each won their first sets against the Battling Bishops, resulting in those matches being unfinished. Wittenberg is currently 2-3 on the season, as they look to improve with two more games on the schedule.
