MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania—Wittenberg women's tennis dropped a 6-3 decision to the Gators of Allegheny in NCAC play on Friday afternoon. The lone doubles win came out of the number one-spot, as the team of Carli Milano and Sarah Frisch made quick work of their opponents, 8-4.
Sarah Gallup handled business for the Tigers in singles play out of the number two-spot, winning in straight sets 6-1 and 6-4.
The Tigers final victory of the day was also in singles play as Hannah Bowman earned a hard-fought victory for Wittenberg out of the number six-spot.

- "I feel that the women's team was outplayed today player for player, but those that did play well for us were victorious. Our number one doubles shined today, as Hannah, Sarah G, and Z looked very strong in singles. I would really like to see more grit from this team," said Coach Day.
