DELAWARE, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers fell to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) West Division with an 8-1 loss to Ohio Wesleyan in a match moved indoors to the Battling Bishops' Gordon Field House.
Ohio Wesleyan started the match by sweeping the doubles matches. In singles, Wittenberg battled battled back to pick up a win at the second position as senior Georgia Bennett (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) won by scores of 6-4, 6-3.
The Tigers have the weekend off before returning to the Albright Tennis Complex at Wittenberg for matches next week against league rival Denison on Tuesday, April 14, and Indiana-East on Wednesday, April 15.
