Tigers Fall To Gettysburg In Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - It was a rough Wednesday for the Wittenberg Tigers, who fell 6-3 to Gettysburg College in spring break action.
Head lining for the Tigers once again was the number two singles win from freshman Jayne Miely (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington). Also picking up a victory was sophomore Emily Nash (Hilliard, Ohio/Davidson) in the number six slot.
In doubles play, the duo of Miely and freshman Sean Delaney (Powell, Ohio/Worthington Christian) picked up the Tigers' final point in the number two match. The Wittenberg women now stand at 3-2 overall going into a match Thursday versus Dubuque, starting at 8 a.m.
