Women's Soccer Places Three On OCSA All-Ohio Honor Roll
SPRINGFIELD, OH - The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) recently announced its 2025 All-Ohio awards, and Wittenberg women's soccer placed three players on the All-Ohio honor roll.
Senior forward Alex Hill (Powell, OH / Olentangy Liberty) earned second-team Academic All-Ohio recognition for the first time in her collegiate career. Hill played in 15 games and started 14 of them during the 2025 season. Her stats on the season include three goals and one assist for seven points as she registered 28 shots, including 14 on goal. Hill was named second-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) three times in her career, and she earned Academic All-District honors in both 2024 and 2025.
Junior Ava Otey (Columbus, OH / Olentangy Orange) earmed second-team All-Ohio and second-team Academic All-Ohio. Listed on the roster as a forward, Otey played several different positions in the 2025 season. She started 15 games this season and played in all 16, logging one goal for two points. Otey was named second-team All-NCAC, and she earned Academic All-District honors in recognition of her exemplary academic performance as a biochemistry/molecular biology major.
Sophomore forward Sarah Deaton (Monroe, OH / Monroe) earned second-team All-Ohio honors for the first time in her collegiate career. She started all 16 games for the Tigers, and she led both the Tigers and the NCAC in goals with nine and points with 20 as she added two assists. Deaton logged 48 shots, including 31 were on goal. Deaton was named first-team all-conference, and she also picked up Academic All-District honors following the 2025 season.
The Tigers finished 6-3-7 in the 2025 regular season, including a mark of 2-2-3 in the NCAC to finish sixth in the conference.
