Wilmington, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's soccer team traveled down the road at Wilmington College, dropping a heartbreaking double overtime game to the Quakers 2-1. The Tigers would strike first, as Jasmine Evans would put away the Taylor Vaughn-Stanton assist in the 51st minute.
- Vaughn-Stanton would lead the offensive attack, with two shots, placing two on target. An initial shot by Vaughn-Stanton is what led to the Evans goal.
- Wilmington would find their way on the board in the 72nd minute tying the game, before putting the eventual winner in the back of the net in the 100th minute during double OT.
- The Tigers tallied nine shots on the evening with eight coming in the second half.
- Wittenberg will return to action at Edwards-Maurer Field when they host Albion on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
