Women's Soccer Nets Two in Second Half to Move Past Hanover

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio— The Tigers proved once again they are a force to be reckoned with this season. Wittenberg came back from a 1-0 Hanover lead at the half to defeat the Panthers, 2-1. It was an even match for the majority of the first half, until the 31^st minute when Hanover's Katie Koopman placed a ball just past the reach of Wittenberg's Hannah Wilson. The second half was more fiercely fought, especially by the Tigers, who scored both of their goals within a three-minute stretch. Wittenberg's two goals, a Jordyn Wright header followed by an unassisted Kate Hollern goal, would be enough to hold off the Panthers for the remaining 18 minutes of play. The Tigers improve their record to 3-1-2 with their victory.
