Springfield, Ohio — The Wittenberg University women's soccer team is planning its second-ever tour of Europe in August 2008. To raise money for the trip for 24 student-athletes and three coaches/administrators, Head Coach Norm Riker has organized a golf scramble and silent auction on Saturday, June 7, at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield.
The event gets started at 1 p.m. with bidding on the silent auction items, which include Cincinnati Reds tickets, gift cards to local restaurants and merchants, autographed memorabilia and athletic apparel with a variety of university logos.
