Tiger Women's Bowling Enjoys Solid Week In Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV - Wittenberg Women's Bowling competed well in a pair of competitions during a fun and eventful winter break week in Las Vegas. The Tigers placed 37th in the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational, and they followed that two-day event up with a 34th-place finish in the Las Vegas Collegiate Shoot-Out.
In the Glenn Carlson competition, Wittenberg posted a high game of 858 en route to an eight-game game total of 6192 pins. The Tigers' individual leader was Ryleigh Rasey (Richwood, OH/North Union), who rolled five games out of eight in the 180s to finish with 1353 pins, good for 101st place.
Next up for Wittenberg was Sydney Wilson (Springfield, OH/Shawnee) with 1086 pins, good for 150th place, followed by Grace Tyler (Christiansburg, OH/St. Paris Graham) in 168th place with 944, and Chloe Steiner (Troy, OH/Sidney Lehman Catholic) in 174th place with 873.
In the Collegiate Shoot-Out, Wittenberg placed 34th with 6580 total pins. Taylor Rausch (Mechanicsburg, OH/Mechanicsburg) led the way for the Tigers in 89th place with 863 pins.
Next up for Wittenberg were Steiner in 120th place with 798, Rasey in 156th place with 636, and Wilson in 170th place with 569.
