Four Women's Basketball Athletes Recognized as Academic All-District Honorees by CSC

SPRINGFIELD, OH - Four Wittenberg women's basketball players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Basketball Academic All-District Team for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To earn CSC Academic All-District distinction, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in academic and athletic standing with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50 while meeting athletic participation requirements.
In basketball, student-athletes must compete in 90% of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66% of games. Selected Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot (noted by asterisk on release from CSC). First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 15.
The four players selected are seniors Cadence Boyd (Cincinnati, OH / Monroe) and Karsen Karlblom (Crystal Lake, IL / Prairie Ridge), junior Hope Orders (Grove City, OH / Bishop Ready), and sophomore Molly Mossing (Cedarville, OH / Cedarville).
Boyd, a guard, is a nursing major with a 3.72 GPA. She played in 26 games and started all 26 of them. She averaged almost three points per game and two rebounds per game. This season she scored over 70 points and recorded more than 50 rebounds as well.
Karlblom, a forward, majors in sport managment and boasts a 3.95 GPA. Karlblom played in 21 games and started 19 of them. She led the team in scoring, averaging 12.5 point per game, while also leading the team in three-point shooting, going 41% from deep. Over her two seasons as a Tiger, she scored almost 600 points and grabbed more than 200 rebounds.
Orders, a guard, is a sport management major with a 3.75 GPA. Orders played in 25 games and started 19 of them. She averaged 4.6 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game. She was second on the team in threes made with 27 and had one of the lowest turnover percentages on the team.
Mossing, a forward, is a marketing major with a 3.89 GPA. Mossing played in 25 games and started 14 of them as she was second on the team in points per game with 12.2 and was second on the team in shooting percentage, shooting 45.3% from the floor. She also surpassed the 300-point mark for the season and pulled down more than 100 rebounds as well.
