Victoria Leali Earns NCAC Player of the Week Honors

Wittenberg's Victoria Leali (Jackson, Ohio/Jackson), a 5-5, sophomore guard, scored a career-high 19 points to lead the Tigers to an 81-73 win over preseason favorite Denison in the NCAC opener for both teams. Leali added two rebounds, two assists and a steal in her 31 minutes of action. She was a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point territory, and made her only free throw attempt. She was 7-of-12 (.583) from the field.
