Eisele, Clark Lead Tigers at NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships
LOUISVILLE, KY – The Wittenberg men's and women's cross country teams competed in their final event of the 2025 season with solid performances at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships. The women's team delivered a strong performance, placing 17th out of 37 teams, while the men's squad did not record a team score with four runners completing the 8K race.
The Tiger women were led by junior Maddi Clark (Mentor, OH / Mentor), who continued her outstanding season with a 12th-place finish in a time of 22:30.64 on the 6K course. Clark's performance earned her a spot on the All-Great Lakes Region team.
Emma Hawk (Marion, OH / River Valley) was next for the Tigers with a 71st-place finish in 23:43.71, followed by senior Mackenzie Kelley (Altoona, PA / Altoona Area), who placed 116th in 24:48.12, and junior Aly Kolonchuk (Canal Winchester, OH / Canal Winchester), who finished 155th in 25:30.75. Rounding things out for the Tigers were freshman Brittyn Snedaker (Gallipolis, OH / Gallia Academy) with a time of 25:40.9, sophomore Svetlana Daniels (London, OH / Madison Plains) in 26:55.63, and sophomore Rachel Lahrmer (Sagamore Hills, OH / Nordonia) in 27:27.81.
On the men's side, senior standout Lucas Eisele (Dayton, OH / West Carrollton) led the Tigers with a strong time of 26:04.04, placing 43rd overall. Freshman Adam Veotte (Cincinnati, OH / Sycamore) clocked in at 27:52.04 and freshman Jay Patel (Springfield, OH / Kenton Ridge) followed in 28:47.35, while senior Taylor Insyxiengmay (Cincinnati, OH / Little Miami) closed the day for Wittenberg with a time of 32:31.92.
