Simmons Earns Athlete of the Week Honors After Record-Breaking Performance

Sophomore Elijah Simmons (Jacksonville, FL/Groveport Madison (OH)) set a personal best and new program record in the 100-meter dash at the Marv Frye Invitational, winning the event in 10.48 seconds to lead the NCAC and rank 14th in Division III this season. Simmons also ran a leg on Wittenberg's 4x400-meter relay, which finished second with a time of 3:25.21.
