Men Picked First, Women Fourth In NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship Poll

CLEVELAND, OH- The Wittenberg Track and Field teams are among the favorites in the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Pre-Outdoor Championships Coaches Poll released Monday, April 20. Wittenberg's men are picked to finish first after taking to top spot at the 2026 NCAC Indoor Championships, while the Tiger women are picked to finish fourth.
In the men's poll, Wittenberg was picked to finish first with eight first-place votes and 80 total points, followed by Wabash in second with 73 points with on first place vote, and John Carroll took third with 63 points. In the women's poll, Ohio Wesleyan claimed the top spot with four first-place votes and 60 points, followed by DePauw in second with two first-place votes and 56 points with John Carroll in thrid with two first place votes and 52 points. The Wittenberg women's team finished fourth with a total of 36 points.
The championships are scheduled to take place Friday-Saturday, May 1-2, at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, after the combined events (heptathlon and pentathlon) take place Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26, at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
