Farfoglia Earns Second Athlete of the Week Honors this Season

Junior Nick Farfoglia (Manchester, MD/Manchester Valley) won the heptathlon at the 2026 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships with a total of 4,742 points, setting a program record. Farfoglia claimed the title after he finished first in the long jump (6.41m) and 60-meter hurdles (8.81), placed second in both the pole vault (4.25m) and 60-meter dash (7.19), tied for second in the high jump (1.80m), and added an eighth-place finish in the 1,000-meter run (3:01.01) and a ninth-place finish in the shot put (10.11m). Farfoglia also recorded personal bests in the 60-meter hurdles, pole vault, and 60-meter run.
