SPRINGFIELD, OH - The College Sport Communicators (CSC) named 45 student-athletes to the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America Track & Field/Cross Country Team. Wittenberg graduate student Cameron Elliott (Springfield, OH / Springfield) earned second-team honors as the lone Wittenberg student to be named to the team.
Elliott, a standout on the track & field team, also performs well in the classroom, with a 3.69 GPA. Elliott earned All-Conference, All-Region, and All-America honors in both the indoor and outdoor seasons, while qualifying for the NCAA Division III National Championship in both seasons as well. At the conclusion of the indoor season, he was named the 2026 Great Lakes Region Indoor Track Athlete of the Year.
Elliott was one of three Tigers previously recognized as CSC Academic All-District Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country student-athletes. At that time, Elliott was selected as an Academic All-America finalist and advanced to a competitive national ballot that was decided by the votes of CSC members across the country.
Elliott is the first student-athlete representing the men’s track and field team to earn Academic All-America honors since Skip Ivery in 2004. Elliott becomes the 56th Tiger student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors since the inception of the program in 1952.
