14 Tigers Earn 2026 All-NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Awards

CLEVELAND, OH - Fourteen student-athletes representing Wittenberg Men’s Track and Field earned 2026 Outdoor All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) honors as a result of their performances during the championship meet hosted by Kenyon May 1-2. The outstanding individual performances powered Wittenberg to a second-place team finish in the meet.
Leading the way for the Tigers were sophomore Jack Kittle (Chagrin Falls, OH / Chagrin Falls) and junior Lukas Rieben (Clayton, OH / Northmont), both of whom earned a special awards. Kittle earned NCAC Men's Outdoor Sprint/Hurdles Athlete of the Year after winning the 400-meter dash and the 200-meter dash with times that broke both the school and conference records, and running an outstanding leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay. Rieben took first place in both the 5000-meter run and the 10000-meter run to earn NCAC Men's Outdoor Mid-Distance/Distance Athlete of the Year. Rieben also earned the same award following a double win in distance events at the NCAC Indoor Championships.
Wittenberg's All-NCAC performers in the 2026 NCAC Outdoor Championships:
- Freshman Jeremiah Owusu (Columbus, OH / Thomas Worthington) placed third in the high jump with a mark of 6'04.00';
- Junior Troy Crosby (Clayton, OH / Northmont) placed third in the discus with a mark of 146'05.00";
- Senior Max Green (Centerville, OH / Centerville) placed third in the hammer throw with a mark of 167'03.00";
- Freshman Matthew Keaton (Westerville, OH / North) finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 15'04.50";
- Sophomore Elijah Simmons (Jacksonville, FL / Groveport Madison (OH)) placed second in the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.64 seconds;
- Sophomore Kory Davis (Brookville, OH / Brookville) finished first in the 110-meter hurdles in an NCAC-record time of 14.19 seconds;
- Senior Riley Payne (Hamilton, OH / Trenton Edgewood) placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.71 seconds;
- Kittle finished first in the 200-meter dash in an NCAC-record time of 21.06 seconds;
- Kittle finished first in the 400-meter dash in an NCAC-record time of 46.56 seconds;
- Davis finished first in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 53.80 seconds;
- Junior Owen Bier (Elyria, OH / Midview) placed second in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 53.81 seconds;
- Rieben won the 5000-meter run in an NCAC-record time of 14:32.25;
- Rieben won the 10000-meter run in a time of 32:14.95;
- Junior Nicolas Farfoglia (Manchester, MD / Manchester Valley) won the decathlon with 6161 points.
Finally, Wittenberg athletes earned all-conference honors in two relays. The quartet of junior Neal Godfrey (Columbus, OH / St. Francis DeSales), senior Cameron Elliott (Springfield, OH / Springfield), Kittle, and Simmons placed third in the 4x100-meter relay in a time of 41.42, and the team of freshman JHoodley Tilien (Springfield, OH / Springfield), Bier, Simmons, and Kittle won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:16.45.
