Three Named Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field Academic All-District

SPRINGFIELD, OH - Wittenberg had three student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country and Track and Field Academic All-District team for the 2024-25 season, the CSC announced on Tuesday.
Senior Cameron Elliott (Springfield, OH / Springfield) and sophomore Bryce Ray (Sun City, FL / Sumner) along with junior Zayden Taylor (Springfield, OH / Springfield) were named to the team. Elliott is a psychology major with a 3.693 GPA while Ray is a marketing major with a 3.733 GPA. Taylor is an exercise science major with a 3.809 GPA.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. To earn CSC Academic All-District distinction, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in class standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 while ranking inside the top 50 in a single event in their respective region. Only selected Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Ray is the lone Tiger to move on to the Academic All-America ballot.
