Wittenberg Men's Soccer Falls To Wabash

Crawfordsville, Ind. – The Wittenberg men's soccer team dropped a tough road contest to NCAC rival Wabash 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The Little Giants took the lead just two and a half minutes into the game, before slotting their final goal a little over twenty minutes later. This is the first loss in three games by the Tigers, snapping their longest winning streak since 2014.


  • Alex Sheppard recorded two shots with both coming on frame for the Tigers.
  • Wittenberg tallied 10 shots, placing five on frame.
  • Jack Snider made five saves against seven Wabash shots on goal.


  • Wittenberg will be back in action, returning to their home pitch on Saturday, Oct. 14 to host the Big Red of Denison University for a 5:00 PM NCAC showdown.
