Gambier, OH - Wittenberg Men's Lacrosse traveled to Kenyon to take on the Owls in their first road North Coast Athletic Cconference (NCAC) matchup of the season in hopes of evening its conference record with a win. The game didn't go the way of the visitors, however, as the Owls walked away with a 17-2 victory.
The Tigers scored the first goal of the game as Travis Demsher (Santa Clarita, CA / West Ranch) put the Tigers up 1-0 as Tripp Salowich (Plymouth, MI / Canton) found him for the assist. Kenyon answered, going on a 5-0 socring run, before freshman Devin Wallace (Cincinnati, OH / La Salle) scored his first collegiate goal to bring the Tigers within three with four minutes to go in the first quarter of play. In the last 49 minutes of play, however, the Owls would hold the Tiger offense at bay and not allow them to score, while Kenyon piled on, adding another 12 goals to make the final score 17-2 in their favor.
