Bio
Dustin Krouse joined the Tiger coaching staff in 2011 as a defensive assistant, primarily working with the secondary. It is his first coaching opportunity since working with the linebackers at Springfield South High School in 2002.
Between 2003 and 2009, Krouse served his country as a military policeman in the United States Army. He served a tour of duty in 2004 in Kosovo and Macedonia before serving two tours in Iraq between 2006 and 2008.
A 2002 graduate of the University of Findlay with a degree in criminal justice administration, Krouse was a four-year letterwinner at outside linebacker and defensive back for the Oilers. After red-shirting during the team's 1997 NAIA national championship run, Krouse worked his way into the starting lineup by his junior season.
A full-time student in Wittenberg's School of Community Education, Krouse plans to graduate in 2012 with a degree in education and certification to teach kindergarten through third grade. He resides in Springfield with his wife, Andrea, and thre four children, Kaydence, Alexis, Jaxson and Jacoby.
