Bio
Dan Piko joined the Wittenberg University football coaching staff in August 2015. He is in charge of the staff's operations.
A native of Chicago, Piko arrived at Wittenberg after serving as a student assistant coach at his alma mater, Ashland University, in the spring of 2015. Piko was involved in all areas of the football program at Ashland, which competes in NCAA Division II.
Prior to his move to the sidelines as a coach, Piko was a four-year starter at wide receiver for the Eagles. He was a two-year team captain and earned a pair of first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference awards during his collegiate career.
Piko earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Ashland in May 2015.
