Wittenberg Picked to Finish Fifth in NCAC Football Coaches' Preseason Poll

CLEVELAND, OH — The Wittenberg football team was picked to finish fifth in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) in the 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Tigers received one first-place vote and 50 points. Four-time defending conference champion DePauw was picked as the favorite with five of the nine first-place votes and 75 points. Wabash was second with 64 points, followed by NCAC newcomer John Carroll with three first-place votes and 63 points, Denison with 53 points, and Wittenberg rounded out the top five.
The Tigers finished 6-4 overall and 4-3 in the NCAC in 2024, good for fourth place in the final league standings.
