Tigers Fall in Extra Innings to Thomas More

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—Wittenberg played the high-octane offense that is Thomas More close on Tuesday, taking the Saints to extra-innings, before falling 9-7. The Tigers battled back to knot the game up at 7-7 in the seventh inning, but could not fend off a TMC comeback in the top of the tenth inning.

• Timmy Bates got the ball rolling for the Tigers, reaching on a fielder's choice as Matt Baker crossed home after leading the game off with a walk.
