Katie Robinson was named the 11th head coach in Wittenberg women’s soccer history in 2017. Robinson was promoted to the role of Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) in Wittenberg's Department of Athletics in 2020, a position she held until 2025, and in 2023 she added the title of Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations.
Robinson's women's soccer teams have had consistent success since her arrival, earning three NCAA Division III Tournament berths and regularly finishing in the top four to make the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament.
Prior to her arrival at Wittenberg, Robinson made coaching stops at Goucher College (2011 -2013 - Assistant Coach), Capital University (2013 - Assistant Coach), and Ohio Northern University (2014-16 - Assistant Coach). As ONU's top assistant, the Polar Bears posted records of 37-18-4 overall and 21-5-1 in the OAC in her three years with the team, highlighted by winning the 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) regular season crown.
Robinson was a three-year letterwinner in women's soccer for Capital. While there, she earned three All-OAC awards and three NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honors, highlighted by 2008 Ohio Athletic Conference Forward of the Year. During her time at Capital, Robinson helped lead the Crusaders to the OAC Tournament championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2007. Robinson began her collegiate career at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. In her first season with the 49ers, Robinson helped lead UNC-Charlotte to an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, with an overall record of 12-5-3.
