The Wittenberg University Women’s Water Polo team closed out its inaugural varsity season on Sunday morning with an 11-9 setback against Grove City College (PA) in the fifth-place game of the 2019 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championships inside the Jane Cadwell Lott ’36 Natatorium on the campus of Connecticut College.

The Tigers earned their first two wins in program history the W&J Invite, first knocking off Grove City, 11-9, before earning a 14-10 victory over PSU-Behrend in the nightcap.
