Men's Lacrosse Legend Klawitter Inducted Into Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame
Ron Klawitter, Wittenberg University Class of 1973, will become the first Tiger men's lacrosse player to gain entry into the Ohio Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame when he is inducted at a dinner and ceremony at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Fawcett Center at The Ohio State University.

Forty-One Student-Athletes Claim Spring Sport All-Conference Awards
Wittenberg wrapped up a record-setting year with another haul of All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) recognitions from their spring sports. A total of 41 student-athletes earned NCAC spring postseason honors during a season in which the Tiger men's and women's tennis, men's golf and men's and women's lacrosse teams reached new heights.

The Wittenberg University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host its first-ever Take a Kid to the Game Day on Saturday, Feb. 14, part of a daylong celebration of basketball and community in Wittenberg's Pam Evans Smith Arena.

Football Standout Brad McKinley Awarded First-Ever Dave Maurer Honorary Scholarship
After a whirlwind three-month fund-raising effort that netted more than $100,000 in contributions, the first-ever Dave Maurer Honorary Scholarship was awarded to football standout Brad McKinley, class of 2011 from Hilliard, Ohio, during a moving tribute program at Pam Evans Smith Arena in Wittenberg University's HPER Center.

Celebrating Dave Maurer
A group of friends, colleagues and former players have mobilized to form the Wittenberg Committee to Honor Dave Maurer, beloved Hall of Fame coach, director of athletics, professor and mentor to hundreds of Tigers throughout the years. After organizing the wildly successful Dave Maurer Day, which included a reunion dinner with the coach and his family, an effort continues to recognize Maurer by raising money for a scholarship fund in his honor.

Wittenberg Announces Dave Maurer Day To Celebrate Legendary Coach
It can be reasonably estimated that Dave Maurer impacted thousands of lives in his nearly 40 years as a coach, administrator and professor at Wittenberg University. In recognition of that fact, the Wittenberg Committee to Honor Dave Maurer has formed to celebrate Dave Maurer Day on Saturday, Nov. 1.
