The Wittenberg Mission
Part of Wittenberg's Mission Statement talks about the search for "wholeness of person." Now just what does that mean? It's actually pretty simple.
Did you catch that part about "physical well-being?" That's where varsity athletics, intramurals and club sports come into play. Wittenberg strives to provide every student with the opportunity to develop themselves physically, and we believe that activities of that type contribute to all of the other parts of the mission, like community engagement, leadership, social relationships and confidence. For those that aren't varsity athletes, club sports and intramurals are the perfect opportunity.
At Wittenberg, you don't have to be a varsity athlete to Tiger Up!
