Greg Schneider joined Wittenberg's athletic training staff as an assistant trainer in 2011.
A native of Westerville, Ohio, Schneider earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2008. He went on to work and study at Indiana State University, where he earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training in December 2010.
At Indiana State, Schneider served as the lead graduate assistant athletic trainer, assisting in the transition of cross country and track and field athletic training services. He served as co-medical director for the NCAA Division I Cross Country National Championships and Planning Committee in November 2009. Also that month, Schneider served as an athletic trainer for the USA Track and Field Junior Olympics Cross Country Region 7 meet.
Schneider also worked at Woodward Camp in Woodward, Pa., during his summers from 2007-09, providing athletic training services to more than 900 campers ages 7 to 17, professional action sport athletes and visiting Olympians.
In addition, Schneider has taught classes at Ohio University, Indiana State and The Ohio State University during his professional career. Schneider presented at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association 2011 Annual Meeting and was published in 2011. Schneider resides in Springfield with his wife, Cortney, and son, Xavier.
